Made in the USA Since 1874
Humphrys has been manufacturing textile products in Philadelphia for over 150 years, and in Indiana for over 90. We started with conestoga wagon covers, and over the years have made canvas duck, tents, horse blankets, and more. We still make a variety of industrial, athletic, and consumer textile products, all with the same care and quality that has kept us in business for so long.

Cut, Sew, Weld, Grommet; How to Make a Great Tarp
Why buy American made? Because you're going to be replacing your tarp a lot less frequently. We take quality fabric and craft it in Philadelphia or Indiana into products that outlast the competition. We sweat the details, with extra-thick hems, reinforced grommets, and welded or double-stitched seams, so that the main points of failure on most tarps are the strongest areas of ours.

Manufacturing in the Heartland
Most of our tarps are made in Gosport, IN, population 825, where manufacturing tarps has been a big part of the community since 1944. The business got its start as Gosport Manufacturing, founded by Mortimer King, and many around here still remember the King Tarpaulins brand name. We're proud to keep this small-town tradition going, making many of the same quality products that have been trusted for generations.
