Dump Truck Tarp Made to Endure
Our dump truck covers are made without compromise for years of reliable service. Every tarp is cut from wide-width fabric, eliminating weak seams that tear under stress from asphalt hauling and heavy loads. Our heat-sealed 3-ply hems create a stable attachment point for grommets and load securement straps that won't separate like stitched edges. The roller bar pocket features double-stitching with PVC reinforcement, built to handle years of daily operation without tearing or separating.
Proper Sizing for Load Securement
Measure Tarp Length: Add at least 2 feet to the dump tarp body length. This ensures complete load coverage during transit and when tilted for unloading.
Measure Tarp Width: Subtract 4 inches from the width of your roller bar. Standard widths are 7' or 7'6".
Sizing Example:
- Dump body: 16 feet long
- Roller Bar: 88 inches wide
- Correct size: The tarp should be 18 feet long and 84 inches wide (7’ x 18’).

The welded seam fuses layers of fabric together with a reinforcing layer in between, forming a continuous 3-ply edge that resists separation under tension and abrasion. To offset the relative weakness of stitching when compared to heat-sealing, we use double stitching with PVC reinforcement. The result is a pocket built to last as long as the rest of the tarp.
