When buying textiles, make sure you are getting the Finish Size to avoid receiving a product that is smaller than expected.

What is Cut Size?

Cut Size is the raw dimensions of a material before any finishing work, such as sewing or hemming. During the Industrial Revolution, Cut Size became normal when industries such as paper and textiles began standardizing product dimensions. While it's still widely used in the textile industry, it indicates a dimension that's larger than the finished product.
